For 2015–2021 Subaru WRX owners looking to push more boost through their FA20DIT, the stock intercooler can quickly become a bottleneck. Mishimoto’s Street Performance Top-Mount Intercooler is engineered to handle higher boost while maintaining optimal cooling and performance, making it an ideal upgrade for stock tunes and stage 2 maps.

This intercooler replaces the stock unit with fully cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a bar-and-plate core for maximum cooling efficiency and minimal pressure drop. The design features a 76 percent larger core volume and 81 percent more external fin surface area, resulting in a 34°F reduction in outlet temperatures over stock. An internal flow increase of 12 percent ensures your tuned WRX breathes freely under boost. A pre-drilled and tapped NPT port allows easy installation of temperature or boost sensors.
